Zachary Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) is this week's PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week. 
SERIES HISTORY: Saturday marks the 67th meeting between the Golden Bears and the Red Raiders. Both teams have won their last two games as one team will earn their first three-game winning streak of the season. The winner of Saturday's game will also secure a winning season. KU has dropped the previous three matchups against Shippensburg, and the last nine at Seth Grove Stadium dating back to 1995. Kutztown's 49-7 loss in 2011 was its only loss of the regular season, and KU allowed a school-record 73 points in 2012's 73-35 defeat.

WINNING SEASON: Kutztown head coach 
Jim Clements can become the first KU head coach in the program's modern history to achieve a winning season in his first year at the helm of the Golden Bears. Notably, Earnest Slessinger went 3-2-1 in his first year in 1929. 
ATHLETES OF THE WEEK: This week's PSAC East Athletes of the Week will be on display in Shippensburg on Saturday. Kutztown linebacker 
Zachary Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) notched a career-high 13 tackles, nine of which were solo tackles, against Lock Haven last week and was named the East's Defensive Athlete of the Week. Delp had four tackles-for-loss, a pass break-up, a quarterback hurry, and capped his day with a solo sack in the endzone for a safety. Shippensburg running back Blair Brooks was named the East's Offensive Athlete of the Week. 
RUNNING TO VICTORY: Kutztown's success this season has stood true with its success of the running game. KU has won every game this season in which it runs for at least 100 yards. It has also won every game when it holds its opponent to less than 100 rushing yards. Kutztown is coming off its best two defensive performances against the run this season, as ESU finished with -45 yards on the ground on Oct. 25, and Lock Haven finished with -26 rushing yards on Nov. 1. 
EARLY LEAD: Kutztown has led at halftime in each of its five wins this season, as well as its four wins last season. Its last comeback win in which it trailed at halftime was on Nov. 10, 2012 at Edinboro. KU trailed 21-14 at the break and scored 33 unanswered points in the second half in a 47-21 win. 
DEFENSIVE STAND: Kutztown's defensive unit ranks second in the PSAC and 13th in Division II in allowed total yards per game at 294.9. It is the first time since 2001 that a KU defense has allowed less than 300 total yards per game (293.2). 
RED-ZONE: Kutztown holds a .879 scoring percentage in the red-zone, the best rate in the PSAC and 12th in Division II. It has scored on 29 of its 33 red-zone attempts this year, and has scored touchdowns on 20-of-33 (.606). Defensively, KU's defense ranks second in the PSAC and 22nd in Division II by holding opponents to a .667 scoring percentage in the red-zone. Bloomsburg leads the PSAC at .632. 
SOPHOMORE IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Zachary Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) notched a career-high 13 tackles, nine of which were solo tackles, against Lock Haven last week and was named the PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week. Delp had four tackles-for-loss, a pass break-up, a quarterback hurry, and capped his day with a solo sack in the endzone for a safety. Delp is second on the team this year with a career-high 68 tackles and 8.5 tackles-for-loss. He has a team-high three sacks and is one tackle shy of 100 in his career in 17 career games. 
GOOD HANDS: Kutztown's three lost fumbles this year are the lowest in the PSAC and tied for fourth-lowest in Division II. 
SAM I AM: Senior 
Sam Dougan (Secane, Pa./Ridley) is a two-time All-PSAC MLB and leads the team with 71 tackles (ninth in PSAC) and 10.0 for a loss (10th in PSAC). He has 265 career tackles for ninth in school history, and needs 11 more to move into a tie for eighth in program history. Dougan currently ranks seventh on the PSAC active career leaderboard and 30th in Division II. Shippensburg's Brian Sourber ranks fourth in the PSAC and 19th in Division II among active players with 296 career tackles. 
ENGLISH 101: Senior 
English Peay (Philadelphia, Pa./George Washington) eclipsed 200 career tackles on Oct. 9 against West Chester, one of 19 Golden Bears in the 200-tackle club. The four-year starter has 216 tackles in 39 career games. Peay holds the school-record for pass break-ups (43) and passes defended (48), and is tied for second among active Division II players in passes defended. Peay is second in the PSAC record book for passes defended, as the PSAC record is 59 by Shippensburg's Brent Grimes (2002-05). 
CAPTAIN GREENWALD: Two-time All-PSAC East defensive end 
Zach Greenwald (Gibbstown, N.J./Paulsboro) joined the 200-tackle club last week on Senior Day against Lock Haven, one of 19 players in school history. He notched five tackles last week to raise his career total to 202. He has 29 tackles this season and ranks third on the team with 6.5 tackles-for-loss. 
COFFIN CORNER: Junior punter 
Andrew Deutsch (Kutztown, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) leads the PSAC with 21 punts inside the 20-yardline this season. He is third in the conference with seven 50+ yard punts, including a career-best 56-yarder this season against Bloomsburg. 
TURNOVER MARGIN: Kutztown is second in the PSAC and fifth in Division II with a +1.56 turnover margin/per game. Bloomsburg leads Division II at +2.56 per game. KU has forced 22 turnovers (3rd in PSAC / 22nd in Division II) and has lost eight (t-lowest in PSAC / t-4th-lowest in Division II). 
PROMISING RIGHT FOOT: Freshman kicker 
Alec Rosenfeld (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) opened his collegiate career 9-for-9 in field goal attempts. He is 10-for-11 on the season as his .909 field goal percentage leads the PSAC and is tied for sixth in Division II (min. of 1 FGA per game). His 10 field goals rank third in school history, and he needs three more to move into second. He kicked a season-best 44-yarder against Cheyney, and in the past 17 years, only one Golden Bear has kicked a field goal 44 yards or longer (Matt Dineen vs. Cheyney in 2009). The school-record is 48 yards from 1994 and 1989. 
THE BARTON BUNCH: Chad Barton (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) has thrown 22 TDs this season, third in the PSAC and 17th in Division II, for seventh in school history in single-season TD passes. His ratio of 22 TDs to five interceptions leads the PSAC. In his first career start, Barton set the school-record with 64 pass attempts vs. Slippery Rock. The previous record of 63 attempts was held by Kevin Morton from 2012 against Shippensburg. 
SENSATIONAL SOPHOMORE: In his second year at KU, WR 
Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) has 77 catches for 1,030 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is the 16th player in school history with 1,000 career receiving yards, and he ranks 17th in career TD catches. He hauled in a 78-yard catch-and-run touchdown at Gannon to mark Kutztown's longest play from scrimmage since 2009. It highlighted a career-high 138-yard performance for Williams. 
QUITE THE START: Anthony Kelly (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) has caught a team-leading nine touchdown passes this year for fifth in the PSAC and 15th in Division II. Kelly is moving his way up the KU career leaderboard with 15 touchdown catches for 11th all-time. 
FEATURED FRESHMAN: Freshman 
Nathan Hollander (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights) leads Kutztown with 58 catches this season, and is fifth in the PSAC and 26th in Division II with 6.4 receptions per game. He led the team in receptions in each of KU's first three games, the second consecutive year that a freshman led KU in catches in the team's first three games of the season. 
100-CATCH CLUB: Kodi Reed (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) ranks ninth in school history with 120 career catches, and 
Brett Fox (Laureldale, Pa./Muhlenburg) eclipsed the 100-catch mark last week against Lock Haven and now ranks 13th with 100 in his career. They are two of 13 players in KU history to haul in 100 career catches. 
MULTIPLE PICKOFFS: Drake Brumfield (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) leads the team with three interceptions and is one of 17 players in the PSAC with three or more this season. Brumfield and 
Tyler Pratt (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) (2) both have multiple INTs this year and are two of 29 players in the PSAC with multiple interceptions. 
PASS ATTACK: Dating back to 2011, Kutztown has thrown 30 or more pass attempts in 26 of its last 30 games. It has thrown less than 30 attempts twice this season (Millersville and East Stroudsburg. 
STRETCHING THE FIELD: Kutztown has had 39 offensive plays this season go for 20 or more yards, 29 of which have been through the air.
