SERIES HISTORY: Saturday marks the ninth meeting between the Golden Bears and the Fighting Scots, dating back to 1988. Kutztown won last year's meeting, the first game between the two since 2007. KU has three wins in the eight-game series, coming in 1988 (34-22), 2002 (14-10), and 2012 (47-21). The Golden Bears are searching for their third consecutive victory, and fourth in the last six games; while the Fighting Scots snapped a two-game skid last week and are playing for a winning record.

FOR THE FINAL TIME AT UNIVERSITY FIELD: Kutztown will honor 12 players for Senior Day during pregame on Saturday. Among them are Matt Connors (Mechanicsburg, PA/Trinity), Alex DiNolfi (Norristown, PA/Norristown), Dan Mummau (Hummelstown, PA/Central Dauphin), Chase Fraley (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia), Matt Pirolli (Warminster, PA/William Tennent), Matt Galloway (Elverson, PA/St. Pius X), Alex Atiyeh (Schnecksville, PA/Bethlehem Catholic (Boston College)), Justin Michalak (Dover, PA/Northeastern), Curtis Wortham (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge), Nathan Fehr (Bernville. PA/Conrad Weiser), Brett Fox (Laureldale, Pa./Muhlenburg), and Alex Wagner (Reading, PA/Reading).

2013 HALL OF FAME: At Saturday's coin toss, the Kutztown athletic department will honor the six newest members of the KU Athletics Hall of Fame. The 35th annual class includes: Sarah Brandon Woodward '07, women's volleyball; Jeremy Culver '99, men's track and field; Shannon J. Daggett '98, women's track and field/field hockey; Kellie Evans '03, softball; Greg Gristick '81, football; and Bilal A. Salaam '05, men's basketball.

DRIVING THEM BACKWARDS: Zach Greenwald (Gibbstown, N.J./Paulsboro) is fourth in Division II with 20.5 tackles for loss, averaging 2.1 per game, and needing at least four TFL on Saturday to catch the national leader (Leron Furr, Fort Valley St. - 2.3). It ranks second on Kutztown's single-season leaderboard, behind Brett Moss' 25.0 in 2011. Greenwald is also fourth in the PSAC with eight sacks.

SCORING OFTEN: Kutztown scored in all four quarters in its win at Lock Haven, the first time it accomplished the feat since its 47-21 victory at Edinboro last year.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT: While trying to find its full-time kicker, Kutztown went 3-for-6 in PAT kick attempts through the opening three games. Since then, Kutztown is a perfect 26-for-26, all off the foot of sophomore Andrew Deutsch (Kutztown, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh).

CAREER AFTERNOON: Quarterback Josh Luckenbaugh (York, Pa./Dallastown) threw for a career-high 317 yards and four touchdowns in the win at Lock Haven. In his three-plus games at quarterback this season, he has tossed nine touchdowns to three interceptions.
