SERIES HISTORY: Saturday marks the 67th meeting between the Golden Bears and the Warriors, dating back to 1904. Kutztown has won the last three matchups by an average margin of victory of 16.67 points. KU has increased its scoring total in each of the past three years against ESU (38 in 2010; 49 in 2011; 59 in 2012). Despite its recent struggles against the Golden Bears, East Stroudsburg holds a 45-20-1 advantage in the head-to-head series.

SUPPORT THE CAUSE: Throughout the month of October, fans are encouraged to wear pink to University Field. Donations will be accepted at the football game with proceeds going to help fight breast cancer. Kutztown coaches, players, and equipment staff will wear pink gear throughout October in support of this cause.

2,000-YARD CLUB: Curtis Wortham (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) has rushed for 1,832 yards in his four-year career. He needs 168 yards to be the 11th player in school history to rush for 2,000 yards. He rushed for a career-high 932 yards in 2012, 186 coming against Millersville.

IT ONLY GETS EASIER: Kutztown holds the second-toughest schedule in the PSAC and the toughest in the Eastern Division based on past opposition. Not including games against KU, past opponents hold a record of 27-15 for a .643 winning percentage. Gannon holds the toughest schedule in the PSAC as its opponents hold a 30-12 record. Looking ahead to future opposition, KU's future opponents hold an 11-17 record for a .393 winning percentage.

NOT TOO SHABBY: Freshman Alex Tonnies (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) brought in a school-record 17 catches on two occasions this season. He broke Terry Robertson's single-game record set against Bloomsburg in 2000. Tonnies then tied his record with 17 catches against Bloomsburg. The PSAC single-game record for receptions is 18, set by Millersville's Chris Pelczarski in 1991. Tonnies needs three catches to move into seventh place in school history in single-season receptions.
