ANSFIELD, Pa. – Three swimmers won multiple events and sophomore Samantha Scialpi posted a pair of career-best swims to highlight the Kutztown University women's swimming team's 114-85 victory over Mansfield University on Saturday afternoon.

Winning two events each for the Golden Bears were
Elizabeth Metz (Rosemont, Pa./Radnor),
Jessica Bleiler (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern), and
Caitlin Davies (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata). Metz, a distance freestyle specialist, won the 500- and 1000-free by wide margins.

Bleiler won the 200-free (2:07.51) and the 100-fly (1:02.64), and Davies dominated in sprint freestyle as she won the 50-free (25.40) and 100-free (55.89). Both swimmers gave Kutztown 18 points each as both of Davies' times were less a second off from her career-highs.

In her first swim in the Maroon and Gold since 2011,
Zoe Sianis (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) picked up where she left off by winning the 200-IM (2:19.51) by nearly 10 seconds over fellow Golden Bear
Natalie Carr (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area) (2:27.99). Sianis also finished second in the 100-fly ahead of fourth place finisher
Melanie Felkner (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) (1:07.01), who was less than a second off from her career-best time in the event.

Scialpi's career-best times came in a second place swim in the 100-back (1:07.69) and in a fourth place swim in the 50-free (26.79).

Kutztown's team of
Caitlyn Falguera (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham), Carr, Bleiler, and Davies won the 200-medley relay in 1:58.69.

The Golden Bears return to action next weekend with a tri-meet at Misericordia. Joining Kutztown and Misericordia on Saturday, Oct. 26 is East Stroudsburg as the meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
