READING, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's bowling team completed day two of the three day KU Invitational in seventh place at Heister Lanes in Reading, Pa., Saturday highlighted by their reign over No. 3 Vanderbilt University.

In their fifth game of the day, the Golden Bears defeated the Commodores in a close, high scoring game of 1021-1018. KU also defeated Southern University (953-900), Howard (880-798), and Morgan State (950-799) to go 4-2 on the day with a total pin fall of 10,275 in the tournament for seventh place.
Seniors
Jara Cohen (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) and
Molly DeMatties (Geneva, NY/Geneva) were recognized by their coach, teammates, family, and friends in a senior day ceremony before the day's events began.
The Golden Bears return to action tomorrow to conclude the tournament in with three best four-of-seven Baker matches position round bracket style starting at 8:30 a.m.
