KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swimming team fell to Millersville University, 152-109 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference dual meet at the Pucillo Natatorium Tuesday afternoon.
 
Senior Jess Mape (Camp Hill, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) won the 100 yard breaststroke with a mark of 1:10.55, qualifying for the PSAC Championships. She also had a PSAC qualifying time of 2:30.15 in the 200 yard breaststroke, capturing first place in the event. She swam a time of 2:19.26 in the 200 yard IM for her third first place finish on the day.
 
Senior Lauren Galetto (Vineland, N.J./Sacred Heart) also swam a PSAC qualifying time of 2:16.20 in the 200 yard butterfly, earning first place in the event.
 
In the 50 yard freestyle, sophomore Caitlin Davies (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) saw a first place finish with a time of 25.96.
 
The Golden Bears compete again when they travel to East Stroudsburg Saturday, February 2, for a 1 p.m. start.
