SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. – The Kutztown University's women's volleyball team held their winning record throughout the PSAC/WVIAC Challenge as they defeated Shepherd University Saturday evening.
 
 
Chelsea Braga (Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach (Fairleigh Dickinson)) and Brittany Harman (Hanover, PA/South Western) each achieved double-doubles for the day, Braga finishing with 25 digs and 15 kills and Harman with 20 digs and 10 kills. Emily Heppler (Newtown Square, PA/Marple Newtown) also ranked in KU's top three in digs for the evening tallied at 22.
 
 
Setter Dana Wright (Warminster, PA/Saint Basil Academy) led KU with 23 assists followed by Kim Gomber with 13.
 
 
For Shepherd, Sara Michael had 53 assists, giving opportunity to Kasey Mercier and Kayla Mothreal to complete 12 kills apiece.
 
 
The Golden Bears return to PSAC play when they travel to Cheyney, Pa., to face Indiana University of Pennsylvania at 2 p.m.
