EDINBORO, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's volleyball team dropped a three-set decision at Edinboro in PSAC action.
 
All three sets were tightly contested, but the Fighting Scots picked up the win by finals of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-23.
 
Nicole Brumbley (Oxford, PA/Oxford) had a solid match for KU with seven kills and four blocks.  Brittany Harman (Hanover, PA/South Western) added 15 digs and two blocks.  Chelsea Braga (Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach (Fairleigh Dickinson)) served up two aces.
 
Both Kimberlee Gomber (Washington, PA/Washington) and Dana Wright (Warminster, PA/Saint Basil Academy) reached double figures in assists.  Gomber dished out a team-high 15, while Wright was responsible for 10 more. 
 
Marah Mayock had a match-high 10 kills for EU.  Haley Marett added 20 digs, while Katie Felix contributed 32 assists. 
 
Kutztown returns home after a 39-day road trip to host West Chester on October 9 at 7 p.m.
