Kutztown falls to Bloomsburg

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (November 3, 2010)—The Kutztown University women's field hockey team dropped a 9-0 decision to Bloomsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), at the Sports Stadium Complex on Wednesday evening.
Kutztown (9-7 overall, 4-4 PSAC East) is ranked fifth in this week's Kookaburra/ National Field Hockey Coaches' Association (NFCHA) Division II top poll.
Emily Labowitz (Bala Cynwyd, PA/Lower Merion) had three shots against the Huskies. Erin Reynolds, Kim Angstadt (Oley, PA/Oley Valley), Kelly McCartin, and Brittany Krall had one shot attempt.
Goalie Emily Falko recorded six saves. In the second half, goalie Karly Waltmanhad five saves.
The Golden Bears will return to action Saturday, November 6 as they host Mercyhurst at 12 p.m.
