Funk played a critical part in Kutztown’s 59-58 comeback victory of East Stroudsburg. Funk scored eight of her career-high 13 points in the second half and converted 5-for-8 at the free throw line, finishing 8-for-11 on the game. She led all Kutztown freshman and was third on the team with 8.5 points per game this week. She is currently fourth on the team with 8.6 points per game throughout the first five games of the season.
