Kutztown University Athletics

Nate Edwards (Philadelphia, PA/North Catholic) scored 25 points in both games for the Kutztown University men's basketball team last week.  In Friday's win over California (Pa.), led the Golden Bear attack with a season-high 25 points.  He made a career-high 15 free throws on 18 attempts and was one away from tying the KU school record set in the 2009-10 season. On Saturday, against IUP, Edwards poured in 25 points for KU, hitting 7-of-19 field goals and 9-of-10 from the line.  He also had five rebounds and limited IUP's Julian Sanders, who entered the night averaging 20.2 points/game, to just five points on the evening.
