Golden Bears earn two wins in baker matches in second day of tournament

NASHVILLE, TN (March 13, 2010) -- The Kutztown University bowling team sits in 16th place out of 20 teams after going 2-4 in baker matches in the second day of the 300 Music City Classic Tournament, hosted by Vanderbilt University.

Kutztown, ranked 12th in the latest poll of the National Tenpins Coaches Association (NTCA), earned their wins against North Carolina A&T (643-623) and Louisiana Tech (700-676).

The Golden Bears fell to Sacred Heart (769-709) Vanderbilt (773-631), Central Missouri (738-670), and Adelphi (797-647).

Kutztown will finish the tournament tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. The Golden Bears will play in a Best of 7 position match against St. Francis, followed by two more position matches against opponents yet to be determined.
