Steven Fitch

Steven Fitch was a member of the baseball team from 1997-2000. He holds the Kutztown career records in games appeared (75), career wins (tied with 29), and complete games (19). Fitch is also third all-time in saves. Following his senior year, Fitch, the team captain, was named PSAC Player of the Year, first team all-region, KU Senior Male Athlete of the Year and team MVP. As a junior, Fitch was a first team all-PSAC selection and he helped KU win the PSAC East Division and the PSAC title. He was second team all-region. During his freshman year, he was named the KU Rookie of the Year and selected to the all-PSAC second team after setting a season record for saves with seven. KU won the PSAC East Division. Fitch was drafted in the 34th round by the Cleveland Indians in 2000. He spent time in the Indians and Pirates organization. Fitch earned his degree in Education. Fitch is married to Shannon and the couple has two daughters.
