Shaun R. Landis is a nine-time All-PSAC men's track and field performer: triple jump (5), high jump (2), javelin (1), and pentathlon (1). He is also a five-time PSAC triple jump champion: indoor (3), outdoor (2). Landis is the school-record holder in the pentathlon (3,687) and rates on three of Kutztown's Indoor All-Time Top 10 lists. He also holds the Outdoor Triple Jump record and rates on four of Kutztown's Outdoor All-Time Top 10 lists.
In 2002, Landis was named the Most Outstanding Athlete at the PSAC Outdoor Championships after placing in four events to lead KU to its third-straight team championship. He went on to earn All-America honors, placing second in the decathlon at the NCAA Division II Championships. He was named PSAC Rookie of the Year in 2000. Landis was named the 2003 Kutztown Male Senior Athlete of the Year.
Academically, Landis was named to the 2002 PSAC Spring Top 10, the PSAC's top award that recognizes student-athletes who excel in both the classroom and in athletic competition, and was a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and four-time KU Dean's List honoree.
Landis is a native of Watsontown, is a Warrior Run High School graduate, and is currently working as a teacher and the head boys track coach at the Warrior Run School District. He and his wife, Fawn, have a son, Oakley, and a daughter, Arabelle.
