Eisenhart is arguably one of the most decorated sprinters in Kutztown track and field history. He was an eight-time conference champion, won four individual and four relay titles, and was a three-time All-American. As a senior, he concluded his career with a second-place finish at the 2003 NCAA Indoor Championships in the 400 meters (47.76).
He was named the KU Male Athlete of the Year following that run in 2003. During the 2003 outdoor season, he earned Most Outstanding Track Athlete and Most Outstanding Athlete honors at the PSAC Championships, leading KU to a fourth place finish. Eisenhart won the 400m in a stadium-record time of 47.54 and helped the 4x400 relay team to a first-place finish in championship-record time (3:12.15). The 4x400 relay team went on to set a school-record (3:11.92) in the preliminaries at the Outdoor Track and Field Championships and placed sixth in the finals.
A three-time team MVP and team captain, Eisenhart graduated with nine school records, three individual and six relays, including setting four all-time PSAC records. In the 400 meters, he broke the indoor record at 47.76 and the outdoor record at 46.57, and also broke records in the 4x400 relays for indoor and outdoor. He played an integral part of track teams that went on to win a total of five ECAC/PSAC Championships. KU won indoor championships in 2000 and 2001, and outdoor championships in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Eisenhart and his wife, Maria, have two children – a son and daughter. He is currently a seventh-grade math teacher and the Northern York Middle School Track Coach in the Northern York School District.
