Cocivera is sixth on the all-time scoring list in KU men’s basketball with 1,231 points. He was a two-time Pennsylvania Conference all-star and once scored 44 points in a game in 1956. He averaged 23.8 points a game in 1956, scoring 404 points, which broke the single-season mark he had set in 1955.
