Kutztown University Athletics

Royer was one of the most successful coaches in Kutztown history. When he finished his Kutztown coaching career in 2002, Royer had led the Golden Bears to 270 victories, three PSAC East championships, two PSAC titles and two North Atlantic Regional crowns. Under Royer, Kutztown made two trips to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championships. Royer was named PSAC East Coach of the Year and Kutztown University Coach of the Year four times during his career. Royer was named North Atlantic Regional Coach of the Year in 2001 and 2002. In addition to coaching at Kutztown, Royer has also coached at Harper College, Wheaton College and Liberty University. Royer is currently the head baseball coach at Twin Valley High School in Elverson, Pa. Eight of his former players were selected in the Major League Baseball draft.
