Lisa Marrella Crawford (’89) is the most prolific scorer in the history of Kutztown University field hockey. She played forward for the Golden Bears from 1986-89. She holds the PSAC and school record for goals (31 in 1988) and points (71 in 1988) in a season. She holds the KU record for points (162) and goals (72) in a career. Marrella was a Division III and Regional All-American in 1988 and 1989. She was an All-PSAC selection in 1988 and was Lehigh Valley AIAW Player of the Year in 1989. During her tenure, the Golden Bears compiled a mark of 47-25-5. The 1988 team placed second in the PSAC, fifth in the NCAA, and set a team record for wins with 18.
