The second-most decorated All-American in Kutztown University men's track & field history, Justin Collins claimed four All-America honors in the long jump. He was a six-time PSAC champion, sweeping the long and triple jump events at the indoor and outdoor championships in 2004. Collins, a native of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, also won the long jump at the 2000 ECAC Indoor Championships.
Collins was a two-time All-American on the indoor circuit, placing third at the 2003 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships and fifth at the 2004 meet. His top indoor jump of 24-feet, 7.75-inches at the 2004 Princeton Invitational remains a school record. Collins was named PSAC Athlete of the Year and Most Outstanding Field Athlete at the 2004 PSAC Indoor Championships after winning the long jump and triple jump.
During his final outdoor season, Collins captured All-America honors with a third-place finish in the long jump at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. His PSAC Outdoor Championship long jump of 25-feet, 0.75-inches set school and meet records, standards which have yet to be broken. Collins also won the triple jump at the 2004 outdoor championships.
A team captain and MVP as a senior in 2004, Collins was voted the KU Male Athlete of the Year as a senior. He was a four-year member of the KU Presidential Ambassadors, serving as the Vice Chairman in 2003.
