Robert F. Wolff was a four-year starter on both offense and defense, was named to the All-Conference team, and was captain in 1954. He was designated the most improved player in his freshman year, and started in every game for more than three years. He played in every game as a two way player (lineman) except his first game as a freshman, and won the Gold Key award in his junior season. He was known for his quickness and speed, often penetrating the opponent’s backfield. As a lineman, he was noted as being the fastest man on the team one year. He was the offensive backfield coach for Bruce Harper and Doug Dennison while assistant football coach for four years at KSC. He helped Coach Baldwin start the KSC Football Booster Club and Football Hall of Fame. He coached high school football at Minersville, Pa., and at Salisbury, Pa. He started at quarterback while playing service ball for the U.S. Navy team in Washington, D.C. He has been a professor in mathematics and computer science department at KSC since 1968. He has a doctoral degree from Lehigh University. His wife is Sylvia Wolff and they have two sons and two daughters.
