Wiggins graduated in 1965. He was an all-conference linebacker twice and was the defensive captain for every game in his career. He was co-captain of the East in the Gem Bowl, a small-college all-star game. He later played semi-pro baseball in Philadelphia, Williamsport and Wilmington, Del. With a background in sports writing in the Philadelphia area, Wiggins is now sports director for radio station KLEI in Lailua, Hawaii, and sports reporter, producer and backup sports anchorman for the KHON-TV2 in Honolulu.
