Bernie Nowotarski, Class of 1984, was a three-year starter (from 1979-81) in the Kutztown secondary. Nowotarski, a two-time PC East first team choice, holds school records for most interceptions in a game (3) and career (17). Nowotarski signed NFL free agent contracts with the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions.
