ARMORY, N.Y. – The Kutztown University women's track and field team saw three Golden Bears finish in the finals after day one of the New Balance Games held Friday in Armory, N.Y.

More than 100 universities and colleges spanning both the nation and the globe attended The Armory to compete in the 2013 Armory Collegiate Invitational, now 12 years running.

In the 3,000 meter run, junior
Jessica Huber (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) finished in 12th place with a time of 10:25.95. Her time ranked as ninth on KU's all-time list in the event.
Freshman
Katie Catania (Audubon, PA/Methacton) took 13th in long jump with a leap of 18-02.25 (5.54M).
In shot put, senior
April Doyle (Greenfield Twp., PA/Lakeland) had a throw of 42-06 (12.95M) for a 31st place finish.
