LEWISBURG, Pa. - Kutztown University's
Michael Stramara (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) had an NCAA provisional throw in the weight throw while leading the KU men's track and field team and day two of the Bison Open Saturday at Bucknell.

Stramara placed third with a toss of 56-09.25 (17.3 meters), an NCAA Provisional Qualifying distance.
KU's 4x400 Meter Relay Team consisting of Ron Smith (Trevose, PA/Neshaminy), Quran Cason (Philadelphia, PA/Carver E&S), Mychal Robinson (Lancaster, PA/Cedar Crest) and Kori Meshaw (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield) placed second in 3:24.22. Cason also placed sixth in the 60 and 200 meter dash to round out KU's top performances of the day. He ran a 7.17 in the 60, followed by a 22.98 in the 200.
Kori Meshaw (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield) was fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.03.
The Golden Bears are back in action on February 1 at the New Balance Games at the Armory in New York.
